Dua Lipa Surprises Berlin Film Festival as Callum Turner’s Valentine’s Day Date at ‘Rosebush Pruning’ Premiere

Dua Lipa made a surprise appearance at the Berlin Film Festival on Saturday night, stepping onto the red carpet to support her fiancé, actor Callum Turner, at the world premiere of his new film, “Rosebush Pruning.”
The couple marked Valentine’s Day weekend in style, posing together for photographers and sharing affectionate moments that quickly drew attention. Lipa wore a romantic sheer lace gown that shimmered under the lights, while Turner chose a sharp brown suit, keeping his look understated but polished.
They appeared relaxed and happy as they exchanged smiles, laughs and cheek kisses. After their joint photo call, Lipa warmly squeezed Turner’s hands before stepping aside to let him take the spotlight for the rest of the premiere.
Turner stars in “Rosebush Pruning,” a biting satire directed by Karim Aïnouz, known for “Motel Destino.” The ensemble cast includes Riley Keough, Jamie Bell, Elle Fanning, Lukas Gage, Tracy Letts and Pamela Anderson, most of whom were present for the Berlin debut.
The film centers on four wealthy American siblings who retreat into isolation, living off their inherited fortune while avoiding responsibility and outside influence. When the eldest brother announces he is moving in with his girlfriend, the family dynamic begins to fracture.
As tensions rise, long-buried secrets about their mother’s death start to surface, unraveling generational lies and threatening to tear the family apart. The film blends dark humor with emotional drama, exploring themes of privilege, dependency and denial.
Earlier in the day, Turner attended a press conference where he faced questions about persistent rumors that he could be in the running to become the next James Bond. With a slight smirk, he declined to comment, calling it “very early” to discuss.
Co-star Tracy Letts quickly stepped in to deflect the attention, joking that he was actually the next Bond. Turner laughed and played along, thanking Letts for breaking the tension.
Between the glamorous red-carpet appearance, the highly anticipated film premiere and the swirling Bond speculation, Turner’s Berlin outing — with Lipa by his side — became one of the festival’s standout moments.
