‘KPop Demon Hunters’ Trio Behind HUNTR/X Hint They May Be Working on Original Music Together

The breakout success of Kpop Demon Hunters has ignited global fandom — and dominated Billboard’s charts — but fans may have even more to look forward to from the real singers behind the film’s fictional girl group HUNTR/X.
On the Jingle Ball red carpet Tuesday, vocal stars EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and REI AMI appeared to hint that a real-world collaboration could be in the works. During Billboard’s 2025 No. 1s Livestream, host Tetris Kelly asked the trio whether fans might ever get original music from them as a group.
“The three of us? Of cou—” EJAE began, before abruptly stopping mid-sentence.
Kelly immediately caught the near-reveal, celebrating the slip: “She almost said, ‘Of course!’”
Recovering quickly, EJAE kept things playful and vague. “Who knows? We’d love to — are you kidding? These girls are so talented.”
Audrey Nuna leaned into the tease, joking, “We should get in the studio, guys. After this, tonight.”
The three artists, who voiced the members of HUNTR/X in Netflix’s animated hit, were part of the star-studded lineup at iHeartRadio’s 2025 Jingle Ball in Los Angeles, joining performers including The Kid LAROI, Conan Gray, Zara Larsson and Leon Thomas.
Following the massive success of Kpop Demon Hunters, EJAE, Nuna, and REI AMI have become global sensations. Their song “Golden,” recorded for the film, spent eight weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and ranked No. 10 on this year’s Billboard Global 200 year-end chart.
“It’s a dream come true,” REI AMI told Billboard, reflecting on the cultural impact of the track. “[We’re] honored and very, very filled with gratitude.”
