Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) publicly praised CNN and took aim at Fox News on Sunday, contrasting how the two networks have handled her increasingly bitter feud with President Donald Trump.
Greene shocked Washington in late November when she announced she would resign from Congress in January 2026. Her decision followed a dramatic rupture with Trump, fueled by her support for releasing the Jeffrey Epstein files and her sharp criticism of the administration’s continued backing of Israel, which she has described as committing “genocide” in Gaza.
Since breaking with the MAGA movement, Greene has appeared on several left-leaning programs, including CNN and ABC’s The View.
During a live interview with CNN’s Pamela Brown and Wolf Blitzer, the Georgia Republican was pressed on critics’ claims that she should “stay in the fight” and that she is stepping down simply to secure her pension.
Greene dismissed the criticism as “unfair,” then pivoted to blast Fox News.
“I get criticized for coming on CNN, and you just had a Republican before me on CNN,” she said. “And it’s unfair criticism because Fox News doesn’t ever invite me on. They invited me one time recently after I resigned.
We’ve responded back to the producer and they still haven’t said when I can come on. So, I thank you. I enjoy coming on and I appreciate the questions.”
Greene has repeatedly vented her frustration with how she believes Fox News now treats her. In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, she even noted that she watches nearly every other major news outlet more often than Fox.
