Susie Lee is facing backlash after posting a profanity-filled message about Donald Trump’s appearance at the Supreme Court, where justices heard arguments over his birthright citizenship order.

In a now-deleted post on X, Lee reacted to reports that Trump would attend oral arguments in the case challenging his executive order, writing, “So f—ing f—ed up,” before adding a second line that drew even sharper criticism. She later acknowledged her language, saying, “Sorry, I say f— a lot these days.”

The post quickly sparked outrage among Trump supporters and conservative commentators, who accused the Nevada Democrat of crossing a line.

Legal analyst Jonathan Turley criticized Lee, saying she had launched a “profane attack” on the president for simply attending court proceedings.

Other critics, including political figures and commentators, questioned her conduct, with some suggesting the post was inappropriate for a sitting member of Congress.

A few hours later, Lee issued a follow-up statement defending her reaction, arguing that her frustration stemmed from what she sees as threats to the Constitution and the separation of powers.

Trump attended the Supreme Court session for more than an hour, listening as Solicitor General D. John Sauer defended the administration’s executive order limiting birthright citizenship.

Opponents of the policy, represented by the American Civil Liberties Union, argue that the order violates the 14th Amendment, which guarantees citizenship to those born in the United States.

After leaving the court, Trump reiterated his opposition to birthright citizenship, calling the policy flawed in a post on Truth Social.
