Satirical Website Calling for Barron Trump to Be Drafted Appears Amid U.S.-Israel Strikes on Iran

A website calling for President Donald Trump’s youngest son, Barron Trump, to be drafted into the U.S. military has surfaced online just as the United States and Israel launched a new wave of strikes on Iran — and critics say the timing is no coincidence.
The site, DraftBarronTrump.com, was created on February 28, the same day the U.S. and Israel began military operations against Iran, according to publicly available domain registration records. The website uses heavy satire, mocking the president with fabricated quotes attributed to him and his family members while suggesting that if Trump believes so strongly in military action, his own son should serve.
On its “About Us” page, the site claims it is “dedicated to honoring the strongest and bravest voices in war,” adding, “If you’re looking for proven genes, inherited courage, and unquestionable resolve, look no further than the Trump family.” It concludes with the tongue-in-cheek line: “Service is honor. Strength is inherited. Dog Bless Barron.”
One fabricated quote falsely attributed to the president reads: “People come up to me, with tears in their eyes, and they say, ‘Sir, you’re the strongest. Send Barron off to war.’”
Barron Trump is 19 years old. Under U.S. law, most men between 18 and 25 must register with the Selective Service System, though the United States has not had an active military draft since 1973. Any reinstatement of a draft would require authorization from both the president and Congress.
The website appeared as the U.S. and Israel launched strikes on Iran in an operation reportedly dubbed Operation Epic Fury, marking a significant escalation following stalled nuclear negotiations between Washington and Tehran. Iran has condemned the strikes as illegal and retaliatory attacks have been reported in the region.
The White House has not publicly responded to the website. Newsweek reported it contacted both the White House and the website for comment outside normal business hours.
President Trump has previously faced scrutiny over his own Vietnam War-era draft deferment, which he attributed to bone spurs.
The emergence of DraftBarronTrump.com highlights growing online backlash over the latest military escalation, with critics questioning whether political leaders and their families should share the risks of the conflicts they authorize.
