Samuel Alito Has Exposed Himself to Felony Bribery Charges Under New Jersey Law. I’m Filing for His Disbarment and Submitting a Criminal Referral

While Justice Sonia Sotomayor recused herself, Alito participated and voted with the majority in favor of Singer’s interests. The ruling ultimately helped Singer’s fund recover approximately $2.4 billion from Argentina, intensifying criticism over Alito’s earlier undisclosed luxury travel.
The article’s second major example concerns attorney David Rivkin, who conducted lengthy private interviews with Alito inside Supreme Court chambers in 2023. At the same time, Rivkin was representing clients in Moore v. United States, a case pending before the Court, while also serving as Leonard Leo’s personal attorney during Senate investigations tied to the Alaska trip.
Alito refused to recuse himself from Moore, arguing Rivkin was acting as a journalist rather than as a litigant during their meetings. Critics argue that distinction is meaningless because Rivkin still had an active case before the Court. Alito ultimately joined the majority ruling in favor of Rivkin’s clients.
The third and most immediate controversy involves Suncor Energy v. County Commissioners of Boulder County, a major climate liability case expected before the Court in 2026. Alito previously recused himself from an earlier version of the same dispute in 2023 but has not recused this time, despite continuing financial interests connected to energy companies involved in the litigation.
The article emphasizes that Paul Singer’s hedge fund reportedly holds nearly $2 billion in Suncor-related investments, linking the upcoming case directly back to the billionaire associated with the 2008 Alaska trip.
